Passenger compartment fuse panel has #12 labeled as power mirror switch & driver seat memory switch and both do not function. Both mirrors adjust viewing angle but don't fold inward like they used to. Checked fuse visually and it looks ok. Will have to check continuity tomorrow but wonder if mirror adjustments are on different fuse. Anyone have any insight please?
Thanks!

You say "Checked fuse visually and it looks ok"

When you looked at the fuse did you see 12 volts of electricity flowing through it???

Because it takes 12 volts to make the circuit work Looks wont do it.

Test the following fuses with a volt meter or test light Check both sides of the fuse The fuse does not have to be removed from the fuse box

In the passenger compartment Fuse #2, #12, #31
In the engine compartment Fuse # 45

Have the key in the run position when testing fuse #31

Use a test light or meter although a meter will show actual voltage
whereas a test light only shows power is available and not actual voltage

Instead of checking continuity check to see if the circuit has power on the test points at the top of the fuse.

I've read on a couple forums regarding power mirrors and seat memory stop working & fuses are fine. Culprit often turns out to be a connector underneath the drivers seat. Move the drivers seat all the way forward. Open drivers side rear door, look under the seat, below & attached to the seat rail on the right side (nearest center console). White or grey connector, 12 to 15 pins. This connector comes loose when rear seat passengers accidentally kick it or after items roll around on the floorboard. Wiggle test this connector. Many have commented the seat rails are extremely sharp and you can be cut easily, so be careful.

Wonder if this is the WPT926 connector which burns out when heated seats fry…there is a tsb but haven't had time to check. Thx!

Thanks for the reply! I'll try to do this in next few days since we're not going to be in low teens as daytime high! Should all voltages read 12+v? Working on a fuel pump on my explorer some had only 6v…
