hi

i have a new problem on my 98 Navigator
Today i realized that the power mirrors and the driver seat wont work.
I checked all the fuses, they are all good. Everything else is working fine.

Some days ago, i hade some water leaking from the sunroof. Now it's all dry.

There is also the driver seat module under the driver seat, could there be also a problem?

I don't know where else to search for solving this problem... Any suggestions?

I checked each fuse under the hood and the fuses under the steering wheel.
I took every fuse out and made a "visible" control...

I read about the DSM (when equiped with memory seat), that there can be a problem also?
Can i read out the error codes with Forscan?

you can but kindly answer if you used a meter or test lamp to check the fuses also explain what you meant by "made a "visible" control..."

I've checked these fuses with a test light.
"Visible test" means I have taken these fuses out and checked whether they are blown.

anytime I check fuses it is always with a meter or test light I have on occasion seen fuses that visibly look good but are blown also a test light can be deceiving as it does not indicate voltage if the fuse has been removed a ohm meter should be used if still in the circuit then a volt meter should be used

I will send you some prints of the circuits for the mirror and seats when I get back home in about an hour

Today i replaced the box under the driver seat with a new one, but it`s still not working...

I can move the seat up and down, when i conntect the red/blue&yellow/blue with power directly, so the motors are ok.

Where takes the power line of the controller-box under the seat the ground?
Thats the only thing i can check, everything else seems to be ok...
