Hello,

I'm a new member. And a new Expedition owner. I bought a 2006 Eddie Bauer last Sunday. It has 140,000 mi on it. The other day wife went to drive it (she's 5'4) and the power pedals only moved an 1.5". Is there something to check/look at?

Thanks

If I were here, you would know it !
Well, my 011 EL has the power pedals too, and they only move about 1.5-2" also, so that may be the max they were designed to move, or are you saying they moved more than that previously and suddenly the movement seems reduced ?

I don't know how they moved before. Yesterday is the first time I've tried them in the last 5 days I've owned it. But thanks for the response.

I had this issue, and the solution is replacing the plastic gear that breaks, with one made of brass. Read this thread HERE. It’s about $100 for the gear, it took me about 20 minutes, and I’m confident I will never have that problem again.
