OK, got the door panel off. It looks like the power window motor is held on with 4 rivets. Does one just grind them off, remove the motor, then what? How is the new one held on? I replaced one on my F250 awhile back and it didn't have any threads. I had to tap the threads before I installed the bolts. Is this the case here? Thanks ...

You put new rivets in? I think they have rivet guns at Autozone...

Does it look like this?

OK, here's the deal. The rivets have nothing to do with taking the motor out. There are 3 dimples in the door panel. There has to be holes drilled where these dimples are. It will have to be a 1/2" hole to get a deep well 5/16th socket in there. This is the same system that is on my '92 Ford F-250, which I've changed about 4 window motors since I've had it. Once those 5/16's bolt/screws are out the motor comes right out. The wires go to a plug about 10" away. I think the new motor does not come with threads so one can either self tap the screws that came out into the new motor or one can tap them and put a bolt in them, which is probably what I'll do. I don't like the looks of those cheap 5/16th screws. I'm waiting on the motor now which I got on the internet at DYI for $58.00 and free shipping. I've taken some pictures and will take more to post on here so the next person will have an easier time of it than I've had. I assume an Expedition is the same as a Navigator. I'd post it over there on their forum but, although I've been a member for years, it won't let me post there so piss on them. I've had more help here than I would have there anyway and for that I thank those who have responded to my thread.

The picture I posted in the second post is of the dimples.

This is what it says in the instructions:
CAUTION: Make sure the electrical connector is positioned aside before drilling.

To access the power window motor bolts, use a 19 mm (3/4-in) hole saw with a 8 mm (1/4-in) pilot to drill three holes at the existing drill dimples on the door.

I used a 1/2 drill bit. 3/4 would work too I suppose, I didn't have one. I would assume someone would see to get the wires out of the way but good advice anyway. I bought my truck brand new in 1991 ('92 model) and the holes had already been drilled from the time it was made (I ordered it) and the time I got it. I replaced one motor under warranty and about 3 more since then. All on the drivers side. Must be a thing ..
