Pre-Cut Holes in Door Panel

I have a 98 EXPY XLT & I recently replaced all of the door panel speakers (6X8) in all four of my doors, and I noticed pre-cut holes that look like a perfect place to fit another set of speakers? Is that what these holes are made for, and if so, what size speaker is made for? Any suggestions?

Do you have a picture of them? I have some holes, but it's where the stryrofoam from the panel fits in. I highly doubt they are for another set of speakers.

No I didn't get any pics, sorry. These are just there, not sure if they fit another set of speakers or not, just curious. I was thinking maybe a pair of 6X9's could go there.
