Yea for 80k just get a brand new reserve. Is the suede headliner worth 10k? They still drive the same. Idk if your in a snowy region or not, but For 2020, you can get a reserve in 2wd which nets you a rele nice n loaded truck for less than 90k. I would hate to forgo the chalet theme interior though, its immaculate.

You need to decide if you want to sink $80k into something you know some other person used for 15,000 miles and probably did zero maintenance and who knows what else. It just doesn't make sense to risk all this by saving a few dollars on a huge investment. Just my opinion, but in the end you will always wonder what the previous owner did and why they dumped it so soon.

I like the chalet interior and they all come with the tow package and upgraded stereo which I want. I don’t mind if the final price is 80/90/100k, I care what the % is off sticker. I don’t like taking the depreciation hit.

I took the price from an online dealer and gave it to the smallest dealer I know of which just happens to also be my closest dealer. They even went out of state to locate my vehicle and dealer trade it, so they weren't just trying to dump something in their inventory.....

I honestly don't know. I just searched auto trader and found what I wanted at the lowest price I could find and I printed it. It had a VIN and everything listed in the add, so my dealer could look and see that the vehicle was legit and it had an out of state dealers name on the sale ad, but I had NO intention of buying it away from home, so I really didn't look close at the selling dealer. I did call them once to make sure it was legit before handing that print out to my local dealer.

Just throw in a search with what you want and find the cheapest one and print it and take it to a local dealer and say call me when you want my check..... Basically what I did... I know all the guys at the local dealer, so they would be pissed if I didn't buy it from them. Small town politics.

Yeah I’ve contacted a few dealers all over the country. Biggest to smallest. Even with haggling I can’t get them to drop more than 10% on the black label.

It may be the bottom line for them. If so, they’re loss. I’d rather buy an X7 or a RR for $10k more (but with a 15% discount) knowing I won’t lose much when I trade it in 2 years.

Vehicles are never a good investment, so if you look too closely at it that way, it will drive you crazy.
I just decided what I wanted and then fought for the best price I could and knew it was gonna take a hit as any new vehicle always does. I bought mine as a hold over, as I'd rather take it as a year old than take that extra financial hit on it. I keep mine for a long time, so it won't affect me much in the end as far as resale.

I honestly expected the Lincoln's to tank in value after they were a couple years old. I was planning on buying one that way, but ended up I couldn't wait as my family was out growing our current vehicles and I wasn't buying a 3rd gen...

I honestly just don’t think a dressed up expedition (navigator) is worth $100k. I’m happy to spend that on a BMW, MB or RR but not a ford product. I’m not saying I’m right but that’s just my feeling/opinion on it.

I honestly felt the same about the Expedition, but I can use it for my family AND my business, so It made sense. I still feel its very overpriced but its making me money so I'm kinda ok with it. lol
