I'm considering buying a 2019 model, new.. What is a great deal? Would you say 20% below msrp? 25% below? 30%?

What's the biggest discount off msrp anyone has gotten here?

I leased in May - 2019 Platinum AWD w/ HD Tow
Even though leasing doesn't get as good of rebates and incentives, I was a little better than 10% off of MSRP for capitalized cost (equivalent to the selling price as far as the dealership is concerned).
At this point of the year, I would be amazed if you can get >5% off of MSRP on a 2020. However, if you find a 2019 still available that meets your wants, I would think you should be able to find 15% off of MSRP. There's several here advertised as almost 10% off

Not on lots (they have 2020 Explorers, but no Expeditions yet)
But there are some dealerships that focus on high volume that will take orders for a 2020 Expedition below MSRP.

I got $16k off msrp for 2019 XLT with 202 package, sunroof, nav, 20 inches wheel at the end of August since they had great rebates.

Out the door after tax, tag, title, etc., not including any dealer add ons, I paid 21% below MSRP.

That seems like a great price! Did you use xplan or were there different incentives etc you were able to take advantage of? Did you get exactly the build you wanted? Thanks
