Please take a look at the attached photo. The front of the car is toward the right and the engine to the left. I didn't notice this until I started putting in the spark plugs, and my son pointed it out to me. I was able to contact the previous owner who told me it was a minor accident and the airbags did not deploy.

Can I replace just this bent bar, or is it welded on? Should I have it hammered straight? I don't know if this will affect my alignment either way if I do or don't. It seems to drive fine now. Thanks

The impact bar is about $200 new and fairly easily unbolts. No welding involved.
Part number is CL1Z-17757-B. You'll have to remove the front bumper cover, which also isn't difficult. 100% unrelated to alignment.

I'd wager if you are handy enough to do spark plugs, you could complete the job in a couple hours.
Me? I'd not worry about it and leave it as-is. A brand new one isn't going to make the Expedition any safer, drive any different, or worth any more.

Here are a couple pictures showing the bar. Its connected to the frame horns:

Sometimes they really survive a crash though:

Looks like a bumper support bracket. Probably ok as long as your not noticing alignment issues
