Problem With Adjustable Pedals

2004 Expedition with almost 70K. Adjustable pedals only moves a short distance up or down. I used the search engine, but no luck. Any suggestions?

I know I've seen a thread about it since I think I replied to it. Mine are bad as well. I'll see if I can find it. I think it ended up being something with the wiring that winds up.

EDIT: Found the thread. Seems no actual solution was posted. And of course, my lazy ass still hasn't looked under there.
