Just ordered a set of these but while I am waiting on em, have any of you here dealt with TRS before? I read loads of positive reviews on most of the things there but went with these to attempt to minimize the cutting I will have to do the lights I already have.

found it. I may have to run back to the hardware store for some tools. I am going to test fire all the lights when I get back from work tomorrow and fingers crossed I have Wednesday off so I can actually install them into the housings.

I had aftermarket clear headlights to begin with but they fit wonderfully, and look pretty good compared to the shape of the headlight itself, oblong versus round. The shrouds had to be shaved on top and on bottom due to them being too large but I think they wound up fitting quite nicely. Just be ABSOLUTELY positive of rotation before securing completely because my drivers light is a bit askew, and with such a sharp cutoff it looks a little funny compared to the passenger side. But take a look!

To be honest I think I'd prefer the square ish lens that I have versus a round one due to the round ones look like beady eyes to me, these break that up a bit and match the headlight shape more... Plus they're larger iirc

They sit a good 1.5-2" behind the lens also I think... Was never a question they'd fit.

Your lights are the Harley Davidson style and I agree, the square projector looks good with them. I'm looking at the Lightning style which have a very defined round bucket reflector. Still deciding, but it's nice to know they'll fit. It seems the FXR is a marginally better light, but you really have to hack the buckets and make sure you get the allignment right before you attach them with screws.

You use 35w or 55w?

55w ballasts that need replacing soon, used Amazon ones, but iirc the bulbs weren't wattage designated....

I don't know if I am more jealous of your lights or your flawless paint. I had entertained the option of the oblong projectors but decided on these for whatever reason .

Whatever you use it'll be a huge improvement over stock, the light output between the two projectors is nearly identical anyway I think!

And thanks! I got lucky and try to keep it nice :)

Okay, I have the projectors in and the light output is night and day difference. The projectors and shrouds ended up being too big for the lenses but the projectors ended up fitting. The shrouds needed heavy trimming on the inside so they would slide further back to allow the lens to go on the reflector. I also had to trim the pass through holes on each side of the trucks header so the bulb connector would go through and another two cuts were made to allow the light to be aimed up properly.

My only complaint on my order is that I ordered 5500k as it looked white online but they are blueish in person . Oh well. Pictures to follow later today

What ballasts? I used the same lights with white light output at first... Been getting blueish over time though...

Unfinished beam aim, they ended up getting brought up higher after the test drive. All I need to do now is get a set of corner lights that look better.

Bravo on rotation! Yah if you look close at mine I had to set them up pretty high sticking the bottom of the headlamp outward, or else the projector would look just funny in the housing, lesser of two evils I guess... And those ballasts are 35 watts which explains the blue color, upgrade to 55 and they'll be crystal white.
