question about side mirrors

When I press the unlock button on my remote, the mirror sounds like it's trying to rotate/change direction for about 1 second. I've never seen it move but I always hear it. What the hell's it supposed to be doing?

i have a similar problem as well. whenever i press the unlock button, both side mirrors rotate and change directions. also, some times the mirrors make clicking sounds. i tried to reset the memory several times still doing it. anyone know how to fix this problem?

i have the same problem along with when we put in reverse the mirrors are supposed to shift down for a better view and the just click!

I am going to and swap out the motor behind the mirrors to see if that fixes it!

What can happen to the mirrors is that they get moved and the memory doesn't know what position the mirror is in. You can gently push the mirror to re-center it and see if it still happens. Sometimes you need to play around with it by hand to get it to the right position.
