Question for the platinum owners....

The rotary dial that all the car makers are trying to go to lately just plain sucks. I’d rather have the buttons. And definitely prefer the manual gear select on the steering column as opposed to the center console buttons. Sometimes I get the impression they make a lot of these changes just for the sake of progress and they’re designed by people who don’t actually drive/ use these features daily.

I just want a column shift. F the dial, F the buttons, and F the friggin center console shifter they all suck. The column shift looks way more classy than any of them leather wrapped and it’s sooo much more functional.

Plus with a cable shift you don' have to worry about an electronic glitch lol!

The only way I would want any type of shifting mechanism is if I also had a clutch peddle. Otherwise I’ll stick with the buttons.
