Recently my cooling fan kicked in to high speed (loud) when the outside temperature was relatively cooler. The two times this happened once it lasted for a couple minutes and the next 15-20 minutes. Typically it only kicks in when temps are 90 degrees or higher. Temperature gauge was normal and no codes.

I did change the coolant at 100K mileage and I just hit 150K. What are some typical causes for this? Obviously I will check the coolant level, but anything else?

Thanks!

You already know to check the coolant level. When it got a little low, turbo airplane fan was kicking on all the time and the Expy wouldn’t warm up the interior of the Expy.
