So I just got done replacing my heater core and I have a few wires left that need a home. One of them has to be to my radio because it doesn't power up or turn on or anything and all the wires match up. Does anyone know where its home is?

Under the dash and connected to the radio

It appears that you disconnected some connectors AND didn't reconnect them
Very hard to tell you what you did wrong

That's why its always best to mark wires when you disconnect them so you know where they go when you reconnect them.

I only have two that are left. One is the radio the other just not be anything important cause I'm driving it lol. And the radio is plugged in behind the radio I'm not dumb. I looked for an hour with the dash off and couldnt find the female for the radio. I have a nice system and I really miss listening to it.

Part of the problem here is you give very little information

Ford uses many different radios in the expedition with different connectors in different years
You give no information as to which year you have Nor do you give any information as to which model you have EB or XLT You give no description as to wire colors or connectors
Yet it appears from you question you expect an answer.

The best answer that can be given is if it worked before you did the work and it doesn't work now Would for you to go back and re check all the connections .

Also keep in mind that it is not unusual to find wires just hanging and not connected
Ford will install wiring harnesses that will have connectors for the different components that may be in one model but not in another model.

And then again maybe the radio is hooked back up correctly and you blew a fuse

Past experience has taught that if it worked before any work was done and doesn't work after the work was done Then something wasn't connected back together. And any answer would be just a guess. You need to go back and re-check your work

you can get a factory service manual on DVD that has a wiring harness and connector locator, with drawings of where things are supposed to be It may help

great thing to have regardless

Well Maybe if you show a picture of the back of the radio we can tell you where it goes

Is that a factory radio or aftermarket

what about that black socket right above it?

does look like a radio connector but it could be anything...a manual would tell you

do you have power to the radio?

The back of the radio is hooked up that goes from the wires that you hook the back of the radio into down into the ******* - because I changed out a heating core which means you have to take out your whole dash so I didn't unplug my radio I just unplugged all the ******* wire harness plugs and put my Dash in my backseat and when I came back to put it back in I couldn't see anywhere to put it so the back of my radio is perfectly fine and stock or aftermarket doesn't matter because they all plug into the same plugs behind the radio and go to that plug which plugs in somewhere else and I need to know that location

The plug above it goes to my parking brake thing and I knew where that one was I just had to dash out when I took the picture. And everything else works but the radio I'm currently driving the car. It does not power up or anything like there's no power going to those wires because I need a home for that plug

No need for the language

But you didn't hook something back up so YOU need to find and fix the problem

That's not a factory unit I suggest you pull the radio and get a model number and the google it so you can see the wiring diagrams

BTW Since you need to know the location I SUGGEST YOU LOOK BEHIND THE DASH

ATTACHED ARE PRINTS OF ALL THE FACTORY WIRING BEHIND THE DASH

YOU SHOULD BE ABLE TO FIND WHAT YOU ARE LOOKING FOR WITH THESE PRINTS

hey I aint a mind reader just asking

throwing f bombs wont get you anywhere with me

I asked if the radio had power, you are assuming it doesn't, maybe something went wrong with the radio. If you dont have power at the radio trace it back like any other wiring problem, you dont know that that plug is related to the radio, you are just assuming it is

thats how I would handle it

stock or aftermarket doesn't matter because they all plug into the same plugs behind the radio and go to that plug which plugs in somewhere else and I need to know that location

FYI KNOWING IF ITS Stock or aftermarket does make a difference

You may have to remove the radio in order to find the factory connector that the aftermarket wiring needs to plug into
