My 03 expo rear air condition unit started having click, click, click sound when air is turned on. Even when air temperature is set coldest possible setting air won't cool at all. When I adjust rear unit temperature setpoint warmer then click sound goes away. Click sound is coming from rear air unit. (Located passenger side and back of the car).
It sounds like some kind of relay noise. I haven't had time to check it yet but I wanted to ask if anybody ever had a same problem and what needs to be done to get it fixed.

Any thoughts? Kemp

Do a search, this is a current topic (last couple of weeks anyway). Consensus seems to be to move the rear temp slightly off high or low. My Explorer does the same Grandfather Clock tick sometimes. Will stay quiet if I leave the rear controls alone.
