For this hose how do I separate the crimped metal portion off the plastic 90° elbow?

I'm referring to the crimped portion. I have the tool to remove the clip on portion you are talking about. So far I have only seen that I would have to angle grind the crimped fitting and replace with new clamp of some sort. Or does the elbow pull out from the hose easily enough without cutting the crimp off.

To close this thread... I've decided to get a dorman 90° 3/4" quick connect x 5/8" barb adapter, cut off the 5/8" metal pipe, slip a 5/8" hose from the pipe to barb and clip both ends.

All fixed! Broke of old quick connectors. Replaced with Dorman 800-419 3/4"x5/8" reducing 90° elbow to 5/8" hose to straight cut 5/8" undercarriage aluminum pipes and spring clips on each ends. Used a mini pipe cutter. Flaring does not work as a vice is required to hold the flaring tool. Turns out didnt need the tool, but will keep for the tool box.
