I purchased a 2000 Ford Expedition XLT knowing the rear end was bad, howling and grinding like crazy. I have a rear end im about to replace it with off a 98 expedition , same gear ratio etc. , i would like to find a youtube video or some kind of reference to gain some knowledge before i jump into this swap. Would anyone know of anything? Thanks, Josh~

As long as the rear end assembly between the two vehicles is the same then it is r&r. I would change the rear end dope and of course change the brake fluid on all four wheels since you will open the system.
If you are thinking of just swapping the guts there is considerably more to it. You would have to set the preload and pattern between the ring and pinion. Not hard to do but easy to mess up.
