I have a 2007 Ford Expedition and my rear flasher and breaklight stopped working. The 3rd light (center) is working but the others aren't. Fuze or electrical issue?

RRANDAL, first off, check to make sure that your turn signals, high beams and low beams are all working. Also check your wipers to make sure that they work too (including the washer function front and rear). If you find that one or more of these are having issues, start with replacing the wiper (aka, multifunction) stalk. Most of the times that will fix your issue. After that, I would say to next go after the brake light switch under the dash, especially if the only problem is the ones listed above. I am assuming that both of your rear brake lights are not working. If they are working on one side, but not the other, then your problem lies in the tail light housing itself. Most likely a bad bulb or a bad bulb base.

Hope this helps.

Thermo,

Actually my turn signals are not working either. All lights work in the front, but only light that works in the rear is the 3rd tail light.

Hey I just had this same thing happen to me tonight; the rear passenger bulb housing on my 08 started smoking when I turned on the parking/head lights! Shortly thereafter the fuse did its job and blew. Is this a warranty type thing, or should I get a new light harness and do it myself?
