On the 2003 expedition, electronic climate controlled, I've got a few problems. It has the common popping from both blend actuators.
However when I manually by hand, rotate the temp control door from hot to cold position using a wrench, the cold air is average room temperature. Also, the hot water pipe/hose is 190 degrees all the time. Shouldn't there be a valve to shut off the hot water when it's in the "cold" position? I think this could be a reason for not getting cold a/c in the rear. The rear expansion valve gets ice cold and sweating, but the air isn't cold. When manually changing the temp door to hot, I get hot air, but on cold, it's warm air.
