I always thoughtwasy awd locked up but i had my wife drive.it in circles while i walked next to it nd well its my drivers side wheel locking up on a left turn. I at first thought was yhe parking brake shoes dragging but those were good. I just changed thediff fluid cause i never hqve in the two yrs ive had it. Well it was pretty sludged up. Well i was hoping. It would have made the dif unlock but.it didnt so now what. O i also.pulled number 25 the abs fuse and still happened. The diff when i had the cover.off looked good from.what i could tell. And sorry i typed all this on my phone so not written out proper

If the diff locks up the inside wheel should spin on tight turns!! Same speed as outside wheel. If you are saying the inside wheel is locked up, as in not turning, the problem is likely elsewhere and not the differential. If the inside wheel is spinning its the clutches not releasing. I would say either due to mechanical issue, improper preload, or lack of friction modifier.

If it is working correctly the inside wheel barely turns based on ground speed of that wheel. Outside wheel spins much faster again based on its ground speed.

With my mustang the inside wheel would always spin on turns as I modified the trac lok for tighter lockup.

Are you sure that the truck even has a Limited Slip Diff?

It sounds like someone did a 'Lincoln Locker' job on it.

While you had it up in the air with the diff cover off, did you spin each wheel individually to see if they were binding up anywhere?
