I'm in the process of replacing my stereo system. My question is would you replace the rear door speakers or omit them. The plan is to have 6.5 component speakers up front and possible 2 10" subs out back, all will be pushed by amps. So do I omit the rear doors or put components in or something else. Has any one had problems putting in 6.5" speakers in the doors??

why omit the rear? complete the entire system and replace rear door speakers as well, i'm looking at replacing my kicker 5x7's to 6 3/4...so depending on mount depth will determine and fabrication to make them fit.

outfit your vehicle and they'll show all sizes compatible...

lol well my friends only head bass these days, but its not that expensive to put 2 more speakers back there to complete it so I would just go ahead and do it. Except I don't know about 6 1/2, I put 6x8 and those fit. But for the rear speakers they have a different harness thing than in the front.
