Rear Hatch Glass Won't Open

Issue:

Power liftgate operates normally. The rear glass won't open.

I'm not familiar with how the system works, so I'm not sure on where or how to start troubleshooting.

Is there a fuse, relay, accuator? The button doesn't seem to be doing anything... least of all popping the glass.

if you look in the "fuses" section of the owner's manual, there should be a number and location of the fuse that controls the rear glass release. Check to see if that fuse has blown.

Does your key fob have a button to release the glass? My fob does for my 2010, but it may be different for models optioned with the power liftgate....
If it does, this would rule out the case that the button the trunk has gone bad...
It could also very well be that the latch is at the end of its life.
