Rear quarter panel

Asking for a friend...he blew the rear quarter panel window seal...is this something he can do himself? He was told there's a nut or bolt holding the window in place? As many times as I've taken the panels off when I had my amp in there...I don't recall seeing anything like that when I took the panels off

Nuts and bolts? On a window? Odd! I would think its held on by a retaining clip and silicone glue or something of that nature.

He got to it and there are bolts and nuts around the window...said a lot came undone
