I've been searching all over for help with this and i can't seem to find an answer.
I have a 2010 EL Limited with 140,000 miles on it.
I've had it since last June. Last week I changed the position of the rear wiper cause it was sitting low and resting beyond the glass, well ever since i did that the rear wiper motor either wouldn't work or it would come on and stop mid cycle.
I bought a rebuilt motor and still nothing. I then took the original one and plugged in the wires and it would cycle but then when i would put it back into the tailgate and tighten the bolts down it just clicks and does nothing.
What should i be looking at to see where the problem is?

Where the shaft goes through the glass likes to freeze up. It's so common I'm surprised you didn't find it in your searching.
