98 XLT 4by4. When I engage my rear wiper, it goes about 1/3 of the way up,then comes down and stops. Any recs? RandR, or is there something I can try?

olcoacher, what you want to try is walking around to the back of your truck and using the palm of your hand, give the post coming out of the hatch a decent whack. Not enough to damage the plastic, but a good jolt inwards. I bet you will find that atleast for awhile this will cause the wiper to go its full travel. But, like you are probably thinking, the motor will adventually need to be replaced.
