Remote Start after starting

My 2009 expedition remote starts works, but then when I get into the auto and insert key, the engine stops running. Any ideas??

You are sure you are not touching the brake pedal whilst getting into the car? The minute the brake pedal is touched the engine will stop.

I touched the brake the first time. Then the next I just put the key in the ignition and the engine stopped.
