replace side mirror turn signal

The turn signal plastic on my passenger side mirror is broken. I bought a replacement part and it came in the mail today. By the looks of it, the mirror itself must come out before the turn signal piece can be installed.

How do I get the side mirror off to get in there?

I think you have to literally pop the off...someone broke their side mirror a couple of years ago and posted a vid they found on youtube and if I remember correctly...that's all they did...try searching on youtube or go to the parts department and ask the question...they may grab a mechanic real quick to tell u
