Did you replace the front or rear O2's? You can have a working cat and still throw the code. The rear O2's just look for a difference between before and after the cat. If the difference isn't what the computer thinks it should be, it'll throw a code. So there's a chance your cat is good, just not good enough. A trick I heard of is to use the spark plug anti-foulers on the rear O2's. They're only a few bucks IIRC.
