Replacing front end struts and tie rods. What else should I replace?

Yesterday I replaced the rear struts and I am planning to replace the front struts in the next week or so. I’m using KYB all around. I bought the AutoZone premium outer tie rods as well. I saw somewhere that if you’re replacing struts and tie rods, that you should probably also replace the sway bar end links. Maybe also the front sway bar bushings?

What do y’all think?

Depending on the age/mileage of the vehicle, you probably should replace it all while you're under there....that way you will essentially have a new front end, and not have to worry about it for a good while. You may also wanna check the hubs, wheel bearings, and brake parts too

Don't forget to get an alignment done afterwards too...

Would you please let me know what torque wrench you used? There is a bolt with more than 400 ft lbs torque.

I would replace the end links while there, if the sway bar bushings aren't all dry rotted, cracked and deteriorating they should be fine.

Also you should post the year, trim, engine of your vehicle in the post or put it in your signature.

I'm about to do the same job, and decided since I'm in there anyway I'm going to go ahead and replace everything. Front and rear sway-bar links, upper and lower control arms (w/new bushings and ball joints), inner and outer tie rods, sway bar bushings, wheel bearings, and IWEs. Went with Bilstein struts and new strut mounts - mine were getting rather rusty. 2016 Expy-EL with 155k miles.

I went with a NEIKO 20743A 3/4”-Inch Digital Torque Adapter, 150-750 ft-lb (Amazon). I already have a 3/4" socket set, and didn't see the point in getting a several hundred $$ torque wrench that I'd probably only use once.

Makes sense. Thanks. The adapter itself is quite expensive on Amazon, for 85 bucks, considering it may only be used once a lifetime.
