Looking to upgrade the rims on my '04 XLT in the near future. Just wondering if there are any online places that are reputable? Thanks

with all the sites that sell...you'll still need to do price comparison...might be able to have them fight against each other and get a good deal...i bought mine from discountedwheelwarehouse.com because everyone else didnt have the wheel i wanted and wasnt able to get it...but they were able to get it...

superbuytires.com and they are in partnership with Truckin magezine...
victoriatire.com
discountedwheelswarehouse.com
wheelnext.com
ebay...only from companies with super high ratings...6-figure ratings...comapnies sell on there and are reputable

Great site! I got brand new Coopers on my Expy right now. I've never bought rims for any vehicle, they've always been stock. So do I need tires or can I throw these rims on my cooper's until I want to shell out the $ for tires?

yes if you go same rims size and width...i dont know the stock wheels width though...find that out and youre good...only if youre going same size...if you plan on going bigger then it wont work...look at pricing for packages...and keep the stocks for backup in case something happens with the rims...

Just don't go to town fair tire, somehow they managed to order me 3 5 lug 26's and a 6 lug for a chevy.....and of course the 6 lug was the final wheel to be installed, then they acted like it wasn't their fault

I have been doing some looking around for wheels. Ive had my eye on some AE 16x10. About the best price i found was summitracing.com The price there was 129 per wheel, but they don't stock the wheels there, they send out an order to the manufacture to have the wheel cut. If it is in stock at the manufacture it is sent out from there. Pretty reasonable price compared to the other sites I viewed the same wheel at. I have dealt with Summit several times in the past and I have always had a good experience. The only drawback is that if the wheel has to be cut, you are looking at a 2 month wait..... So it all depends what you are looking to spend and how long you want to wait.
