Just thought Id share this - just took the family on a round trip vacation from Los Angeles to San Francisco - and everything in between - and back! Drove like a champ. Cruise control all the way back at 85mph!

A few years back I drove her to Vegas to LA to San Francisco and back in less than a week. No hitches (well..other than a flat tire..but thats not her fault)

on a side note: I found out that flat repairs are FREE in vegas regardless where you bought the tire. And no plugs! dismount, patch, remount, rebalance = free! Thank you Big-O-tires!

thanks for the report.

I had heard that other tire centers offer that same service....as an incentive to purchase tires from them [in the future.]

Congrats on the trip.

I've been surprised at how nicely my 98 Expy drives. Couple of things cause first off I'm a sports car guy. Never had any use for trucks. Matter of fact I bought my Expy just to tow my cars to the track. Then I had to take castings to New Jersey last week in an Expy I literally saved from the crusher.

It really drives nice considering it has 238,000 miles and all.

Wonder how nice it will drive pulling a 1200 lb trailer and 2400 lb race car?

Thanks!

I too bought the expy just so as not to wear out my other cars. I got the expy so my kids can eat, drink sodas, drop the occasional french fry on the floor and me not making a fuss about it. But as time went it grew on me and soon realized the kind of work horse it has been.

True it cant accelerate or handle itself around fast turns but once the path becomes straight everything is good
