i have noticed that after I turn off the SUV and take my foot off the brake that I have a pretty good roll forward when on a very slight uneven surface. If I put the parking brake on there is none however. Is this normal?

Totally normal. All vehicles with an Automatic trans will roll forward or back till the pin in the transmission locks it in place. That's what your ebrake is for.

Thanks. I just don’t ever remember my past SUVs rolling as much. My kids keep making comments on how it is like their school bus. I know there were recent recalls on the transmission pin so I am wondering what exactly would be normal. Thanks again for replying!

Maybe check with your dealer. I drive a 1st edition, if I'm on any kind of grade, even slight, yes it will roll. You have to remember these SUVs weigh anywhere from 5700 to 6000 pounds. And that's without passengers or cargo. Best bet, ask your dealer, if you can sit in one like yours, see how far it rolls. Kinda shame to tie up your vehicle for a transmission repair, that might not be a problem at all.
