Should I buy this? Can't see the harm in a $75 gamble.

I'm a total noob to this, so if someone could advise me also, do you just bungee strap stuff in or what? Put a tarp over anything not waterproof, or just only put waterproof stuff on top (like a tire)?

its a little small. if you look at a cherrokee compared to an expy you'll see the size difference.

you can make it your self if you have a welder and grinder... that's what I am doing

i'm not that handy... i'm trying to get there, but just working on stuff i don't need to buy a lot of specialty tools for

Why do you need the cross bars ??
My rack fit in the existing sliders, had to remove the cross rails

What type did you get? Everything I'm finding shows them being connected to cross bars.
