Hello, I am looking for some input on some issues I have been having with my 2001 Ford Expedition 4.6L 4x4. I have been having some issues that continue to bother with my vehicle.

I have been experiencing the following:
- RPM at 500 when in drive at idle.
- Rough idle in drive
- With AC on idle is even rougher in drive
- Noticeable rattle from under vehicle with AC engaged in drive, but at idle only.
- Hesitation when turning and accelerating from a stop
- Occasional Beep as if an error has been generated, but no codes from the vehicle.
- Idle is rough only after vehicle warms up

This problem with the idle in drive has been present for about a month now and the hesitations are getting worse; and when it hesitates, the RPMs drop and then return, at which time the vehicle continues to accelerate. The vehicle will not run rough in drive as long as the RPMs remain above 800.

I have found or replaced recently:
- There are no loose parts under the vehicle
- There is no increase in Idle when engaging AC in all modes
- RPM at 900 when in Neutral and Park
- New PCV Valve and Assembly
- New Coil Packs
- New Spark Plugs
- Tested TPS and found to be within limits
- Tested vacuum lines and found to be sound.
- Replaced EGR Valve, Solenoid, and DPFE Sensor
- Cleaned EGR Manifold piping
- Checked and cleaned air intake assemblies
- Tested Intake Temperature Sensor and found to be within limits
- Checked, cleaned and replaced Fuel Injectors
- Replaced Fuel pump and filter
- Replaced AC
- Replaced O2 Sensors
- New Engine block and components at 200,000 miles
- New Transmission at 185,000 miles, with PM at 220,000 miles
- New universal joints on drive shaft
- Vehicle currently has 246,000 miles on the odometer
- No leaks around manifold
- Catalytic converters do not rattle when struck

I am thinking of:
- Replacing the Idle Air Control valve

Any help or ideas would be greatly appreciated. Hope I did not forget anything...

first thought was IAC.... but also check the vacuum lines for the "T" that is notorious for causing many problems when it rots out...
