Hello all,
I recently had my IAC valve and PCV valve replaced. In addition the stealership (I know, that's probably where the problem started) reprogrammed the “PTO” with the latest calibration and drive monitor.
Prior to the parts being installed I personally did a tune up. I replaced all 8 spark plugs with Motorcraft plugs and used Accel COP's. I've talked in the past about my rough idle issues and the tune seemed to help however it noticeable to the point of wanting to correct it. So, I purchased the OE parts and rather than doing the installation myself I had the parts installed by the dealership. The cost wasn't that bad however the end result is not what I intended.
I don't see how the new parts could be causing the issue so I'm wondering what is the “PTO” and how can it revert it back to the way it was prior to the reprogramming? I have a SCT flasher that I will eventually buy some tunes for the Expedition and am wonder if that will solve my problem.
