Royal Purple ATF

will be changing my own tranny fluid soon, and wondered what you all thought about royal purple atf. i was going to buy it because i found a great deal on it in a hometown store, but my husband said i should be leary of a synthetic since i have high miles (120K).

should i be worried?

Just make sure it meets Mercon specs.

I wouldn't worry about using synthetic. Transmissions aren't like engines.

In fact, the snythetic may help extend the life of the tranny.

it does meet mercon specs, so that's a relief. the advertisement says that it's a direct replacement. thanks again!!
