Running board lights.

When I first replaced the bulbs I noticed how they waste alot of light sending it straight out of the lens rather than it being directed better, I was considering finding a couple of led bars with an adhesive backing to make them better lit.

Just thought I'd post my idea here to see if it's been done before and if it looks okay.

I am going to get rid of my pan running boards and go to a step bar so I was thinking about some LED light strips and attaching to the bench rail I think it would be better light output plus I don't have a lot of choice with getting rid of the plastic running boards

i think the newer versions added light from above from the bottom of the mirror?

sure others will chime in.

I used led bulbs that were more directional. They send more light to the boards.
