running board lights...

i noticed these lights r suppose to come on when doors open.....mine doesnt light up....
replacing interior relay wouldnt help..done that. plus its outside lights...on running boards....
theres a "small" fusebox underhood.think its called a rpo relay block....closest to hood hinge...theres 2 boxs...small and a bigger one...i changed that fuse,......cant figure it out....according to alldata...relay block suppose 2b on top of dash on pass. side below windsheild. who knows...lol

i changed headlight switch as well....interior light wouldnt come on when spinning dial all the way till it clicked...now it works but no running boad wights...no power...i did check with test light....help!!! lol txs all...

At the front (under the drives & passenger door) there are 2 wires that run to the lights pull the plastic cover down and check if they corroded or broken.

That's where mine corroded and fell apart.

4-16-10.....naaaa...everything looks good.....harnest looks intact...trucks not that bad...rot it doesnt have....power is lost somewhere...

Confirm that it's not something easy like your door sensor. When inside and the truck running, open the door, it should chime and give you a door light on the dash.
