running rough

ok so brought the truck to the drive in; ran out of gas didnt realize it had run out of gas so tried starting it a bunch of time. had some guy think the fuel injectors might be clogged, however it was just empty. got some gas in it finally and now its running a little rough with slight tick in engine by spark plugs on passenger side of vehicle. idles at around 900 rpm

any suggestions or advice would be very helpful becuase i have a very tight budget at the moment

how long did you let it run for? You definitely have some air in your system and can expect it to run rough for atleast 20 minutes. Also you may want to change your fuel filter and see if that helps.
