Can anyone confirm that an SCT Tuner will let you "turn off" the rear O2 sensors? I talked to a rep. from SCT and he told me that option was a standard thing on their tuners.

Thanks!!

I had mine turned off on my custom tunes. I can mess with it later and see if it's an option. I'm pretty sure it is. Still passes emissions test with them off as well. I have the X4. Much larger and nicer screen.

If you could check it out later that would be awesome and much appreciated!

And BTW, who does custom tunes for our trucks? I've looked but haven't turned anyone up yet.

Yes it will. I used one of the canned tunes and I went into the options and disabled them.

I got my tunes from More Power Tuning out of Orlando. I think my economy tunes has more power than the canned performance tune. I love the way the torque converter is locked up earlier and doesn't unlock as soon as you hit the gas.

Thanks for being cool and not being like "read my signature".

Can I ask something random about the SCT? Is this device easy to install and operate? can any one operate it?

I believe so! They are essentially plug n' play as far as using them in the vehicle. The place most people would likely have some issues is connecting the device to their PC to upload custom tune files. That can MAYBE confuse some people. But don't worry!! YouTube can save all! I haven't checked but, I'm sure someone has made a how to on YouTube for all of this.

The X4 was very easy. With canned tunes you don't even need a computer to update. It has Wi-Fi. With the custom tunes you load the program on computer and they e-mail you the custom tunes. Very easy to do.

The SCT was easy too. I got the Bluetooth version and did it using my phone.

I had some misfires on cylinder 3. I moved the plugs and cops around and now everything is running great again. I installed the sct and it seems to be running great so far. But have only driven about 150 miles
