I have a 2003 Eddie Bauer expedition and every time I turn it seems like the truck is shaking. I took it to the Ford dealership here in Glen Burnie MD and they told me that it is my tires but I have a friend with a 2004 Ford pickup truck and his does the same thing. Does anyone out there know what is causing this? Is it really the tires?

does it depend on your vehicle speed? Does it do it regardless how fast or low you are driving and how hard or sharp the turn is?

seperated tire or mud style tires out of balance will cause this also cheap knock off tires are known for this

i am actually experiencing the same thing right now. it is only upon turning at takeoff. feels like maybe cv or hubs are going out....hope im wrong. dont really feel anything going straight on takeoff but if i am turning at a stopsign or something like that, then the front end kind of "shudders".

idk if its the tires. my tires were bad not to long ago and there was no shuddering on turns. just when i hit freeway speeds. got them rebalanced at a better place and fixxed. but this seems like a problem with the cvs. since i know navy has his in awd it could be that. idk about the others. when im in 4x4 mine shudders but thats cause the front and rear want to spin at the same speed. but tires i dought it. could be cvs or power steering problems.
