Shifting Issue - '03 4.6L V8 Auto

When I am just cruising around town my Expy is fine. But, if I am crusing then step on it, my Expy will usually do a typical down shift then launch...

Well, mine as of lately down shifts, hesitates, then launches (It's only done it twice so far).

Any idea what could be the issue?

So, it is not the trany after all, its the motor it self since it did it 3 other times now. I believe it is a dirty fuel filter. So I am going to try that and see if that fixes it.
