Shipping for wheels and tires.

Is $250 expensive for shipping 5 wheels and tires from MD to FL. If so, is there any in MD near Frostburg that might be able to help me out with picking up the wheels for me and getting them shipped. If you could get the wheels picked up and shipped, whatever you can save me, i will split the difference 50/50. If you can save me $100, you would get $50. Thanks Jason

seems high to me too i shipped 4 17" wheels and tires from WA to FL for $89 fed ex

How big are the wheels? What is the total weigh of the packages? What's the number of packages.

I think when my friend ships wheels (just wheels, not tires), it's 2 per box, 2 boxes total. I think with insurance it's around 90 bucks through Fed Ex? Lemme ask him...

i was looking at retreads 315/70/17 and its $130 for all four shipped fedex and thats ND to socal

The tires are 275/65/18. They are mounted. I do not know how much they weigh. They are 2010 18×8.5 king ranch wheels with tires. The seller said they only have 500 miles. I paid $632 on ebay for all 5. Its probably worth it even with the shipping but I'm just being cheap.

i had to get a quote on my 1st set of 24's that had the chrome flaking for Giovanna to pay for them...just the wheels...no tires...24's...2 of them...was $250...90lbs total from coast to coast...VA to CA
