Just completed this upgrade on my old 2007 Expedition XLT.

3" Front 2.5" back lift from Supreme suspensions.
Granite Alloy 17x8.5 wheels with +25mm offset, and 315/70/17 BFG ATs.

Had to trim a small piece of plastic (~1/2") off of front bumper. Took about 30 seconds on each side with a dremel.

Handles well, and I love the look.

I'm looking at doing the 3/2 spacer lift with the extended sensor links for CCD. What are you all doing for tires on the 22" wheels? I typically like more sidewall but do like the looks of these wheels. I'm thinking the Toyo A/T3's or the Falken Wildpeak A/T3W.

Currently lifted with spacers - its the only bolt on option I've found.

I also installed custom rear springs that are 25% stiffer and 1 inch taller.






Currently gathering parts for a Raptor front suspension kit and custom 5 link on the rear with Fox 3.0 Racing coil overs.

Should be about a 3 inch lift from stock with 12 inches of travel front and rear.

Will update when that project is done. (Hopefully!)

I’d ditch the 22s if you plan to off road at all.

Oh I understand that.... but I usually off road in a 74 Bronco. This is more for the look and occasional bad weather going skiing or something. I have a set of 18" factory wheels but I like the look of the 22s. Was just wondering if anyone had used them at all - my tire options would probably stay the same no matter the wheel size. i just sold my auto shop and have had great luck with them.

i want to share with you guys the Readylift 3/2 on my 2015 4x4 EL
i also replaced the old shocks with Bilstein 5100
they can extended by 1" more , but i just keep them on 0 and here is how they looks

my next step will be a bigger tires , its my daily use car so i will go for 285/70 i guess
or maybe 295 depends on market here

I am running Fuel 20s with Goodyear ultra terrain tires. Which 5100's are you using? How much lift did you end up getting and how about some info on the springs please

Just wrapped up a mechanical rebuild of my 2010 EL. New control arms, tie rods, rear Bilstein 5100s with custom coils, alignment kit (I had to cut the front LCAs off due to rust), 4.10 gears, rear Eaton Truetrac, front Ox Locker, axles, sway bar bushings and links, etc. I picked up some pristine 2018 Raptor wheels about a year and a half ago and finally have them installed with 315/70r17 Dueler Revo 3s. It's filthy in this pic but I'm still pleased with the results. It finally looks the way it should have from the factory.


The 5100s still have some room to lift that rear. I'll see how it sits when things settle after a few miles.

The amount of rust was staggering so everything's now gooped up with CorrosionFree in the hope of stopping it from progressing. Figure that will be an annual treatment going forward.

The interior is getting refreshed next as the seat bottoms are shot. I already replaced the passenger side and am waiting on delivery of the new leather for the driver seat.

This has been the perfect truck for my needs but it needed some attention after all the years and miles. The cost of a refresh vs. replacement made the refresh an easy decision. I took a fraction of the replacement cost to make this functionally brand new and exactly what I want.

I'm really looking forward to my next road trip with the family.

My 2015 EL. I took off the stupid 22s and replaced them with 2020 Raptor take-off and Cooper Discoverer AT3 LT LT275 /70 R17. They tell me I can't lift it with the electronic ride control shocks...so there she sits wanting to be 3" higher... (like so many short people.) I did have to cut the rear axles to get the Raptor center hub covers on. (There's a couple of pics before I changed the wheels.)

Here's mine.... ebay lift kit on stock shocks/springs (well made, nice welds, aligned perfectly but LOUSY instructions) as far as I can tell it's identical to some of the big name $$$ kits.
285/75-17 on 17x 9 +20 wheels. Didn't care for the Vision center caps so I did my own thing.
No RUB at all. Ride is similar to stock, just a little more road feel. Not sure if it's the lift or the tires but it's not an issue. Will probably upgrade gearing and throw in a limited slip. Not sluggish off the line but I can tell at highway speeds it has lost some pep.

New on here, first post. Been following and learning from the forum for a while. Bought a 2016 Expy EL about 3 weeks ago as a second / deer lease vehicle. I put some 5100 bilsteins on her along with the Ready Lift 3" front / 2" back spacers. I think it turned out great. No rubbing from my 33/12.50/20 Nitto Ridge Grapplers. Now need to reprogram the computer to stop worrying about the suspension mode. I hate CEL/Code lights on the dash. Going to try changing the "as built" data to an XLT.

Hey guys, I am new here and am looking into lifting my 2016 platinum EL. I am 99.0% sure it has the CCD system since I have the suspension settings in the dash.

I am planning to get Black Rhino Alamo 18x9 wheels and KO2s in 285/65/R18 for tires. Based on what I have read these should fit well with a spacer lift.

Now to the lift... All of the kits say that they will not work for my vehicle since I have CCD system. Is there a way around this? I thought I found a thread once on this site or somewhere else that discussed how this could be done but am unable to find it. Any help here would be appreciated because as of right now I cannot get a shop (in Fargo, ND) to do the lift until I figure out what spacers or other components for it (At least that is what they are telling me).
