Getting tired of paying nearly $200 a year for Sirius, especially given that they play the same music over and over.

I'm an android fan and the Expedition is a 2007 Limited. Are there any other options besides plugging the phone into the "in-line" port?

I use a bluetooth adapter for the auxiliary post and stream from iheartradio, Amazon music or others services.

Use an old phone and leave it plugged in

ISimple makes a product called the Bluejax that has built in control for whatever music you're streaming or you can use the phone and your music app. You can pick it up for much less at ither retailers than directly from them, works great. Charges through USB or can just leave plugged in if you have a port near the aux.

I have Sirius Select and have never paid more than $60/year. Every time your promotional rate is up, simply call them to cancel and say you're not willing to pay a dime over what you're already paying. They will make several other offers trying to get you to pay more, but, ultimately, they will always offer you the same $5/mth rate for Select before the call is over.

Alternately, you could use Pandora, Spotify, etc. but they will chew up your data if you spend a lot of time in the truck.

i uses a 32GB usb stick I have all kinds of music and genre cost me 17.00 once

This is my backup when I get tired of Sirius. I have a 64GB Samsung Fit, which is small enough that I can still get my Console Vault shut without removing the stick.

I have a CD full of MP3's, hundreds of songs on it, just put it on random and enjoy.

:D

As ManUp says, Sirius at $5 per month is what you pay when you put up a fight. Just remember to call them before the subscription runs out or the thieves will charge your credit card $299 for a renewal or draft a check to your bank account if you've ever sent them a check for anything. I send them postal money orders so they can't rob from me if I forget...
