ok . sorry to thread jack freeway but you 2 know alot about car audio. first can an amp be fixed? MOm used my expy while here and moved my subs. She ripped out the gain control. The connector is now bent into the amp and the connector on wire is missing the plastic holding tab. Can this be fixed? and if not what is a decent fairly inexpensive 1000w amp?

Good deal, thats a fun amp. How many runs of 0ga are you doing?

1 run...000 ga...or 0000 ga wire...3 and 4 times thicker than 0 ga...I didn't know it existed until today...met this guy who used to work for DC Audio and he showed me his setup....SUPER THICK GROUND/POWER WIRES!!!

A store like radio shack, the source and even home depot have these connectors.

Freeway, I have used 000 or 3/0 before and its a Pain in the butt. I can only imagine 4/0. Be prepared to get custom terminals machined.

yes it does and thank you. How hard is it to fix the "pushed in" part on the amp itself?
