How slow is slow? Make sure that you remove the key when you pump gas, that will reset the sensor each time. If it takes a couple days to come back up to full I would worry, if it comes back to full after 5 minutes of driving, then I would say that is normal.

Not sure if you it's still there for the 07 models, but if you push and hold the trip reset button while turning the key to ON (not START), it should go into diagnostics mode. Keep on pressing the trip reset button to cycle through the modes. One of them does a full sweep of all the gauges. Figure it would at least eliminate a possible problem with a bad gauge?

Sorry I should have been more clear. Sometimes if I turn off the truck but leave the key on to play the radio for people who are still inside the truck, and then hop back in and start her up right away and drive off, the gauge won't read full for 15-20 mins. Taking the key out and reinserting it takes care of the wait. And I didnt mean to cause alarm by saying worried, I just meant that if it were taking longer than 10-15 mins, then I would assume something needs to be fixed. Less than that, I wouldn't lose sleep over it. Hope that helps. I would also try what ELVATO recommends.
