Who is ready for snow??? Personally, I can't wait for it. I love snow and most of all playing :) This year it will be much better because I am not living at home, so I don't have to spend hours digging myself out at home. I have been depressed this year because Laramie is a little late. I spent the day at a Game and Fish check station, and had to watch it snow up in the mountains, when I could be playing. Instead I spent the day in 40 mph winds.
SO...

Who is ready for snow???

I am!!

Snow is about to arrive, here in Quebec.

Studded winter tires will give me a lot of fun in real snow!

I'll post some pics of storms, if we have good ones.

Snowing here in Alberta right now. It's mixed with the rain, so its not settling on the ground yet.

It was a lot more fun in my explorer, the Expy handles so well it really isn't that much of a blast. I think I only shifted into 4-hi maybe twice last year. And that was just to get out of the driveway cause I never shoveled it!

Well, after all of my time of hoping for snow, today it finally arrived :) There wasn't much in town, but there was a little bit up in the mountains i went to. One of my buddies told me there was about 10 inches where he hunted this weekend. Hopefully we will get more snow later this week since it is going to be so cold. It was a light snow, but it was accompanied by 40 mph plus winds

Couldn't agree more. Last year was a mild winter in Wisconsin (We only saw about 3 feet of snow). But the 2 previous winters (102 and 75 inches) more than made up for it. I like snow, but when you see it on the ground for up to 5 months of the year it gets old.

Friggen Snow

I was abused as a child in the fact that my mother raised me in Vegas and then decided to move me to MN my junior year. So that (snow) is a four letter word to me. CT is really troubling me as it just can't seem to decide whether it is gonna snow or ice up. I miss the desert. Good thing I get to ride a submarine for most of the year.

Saw Your Sticker

Figured from your post you were navy. I might as well add that I get sea sick....:D I only have about 20 months left before I retire. Thanks for serving and I like the Expy. My brother in-law was an HM. Got out a few years ago and is now a cop in Vegas.

Hey guys, I don't know about all of you, but in Laramie, winter has finally set in! We got snow on Tuesday, and i spent most of yesterday up in the mountains while it snowed. There is about 4 -5 inches in town and a little more up in the mountains. It was a blast driving through, but traction was an issue sometimes on steep hills because there hasn't been a frost yet, so under the snow is greasy mud.

Snow????????

all we get is black ice and higher insurance.
no one can drive in Atlanta on a good day.
So on those few bad weather days(black ice)
i just wait for the sun to come up and shake my
head at all the guys in the ditch.
