I wouldn't, these are touchy motors, and without the stronger coils, theirs no benefit. Besides that these plugs need to survive up to 100 k with the gap within some sort of close to original gap. If you start out with a wider gap, say .060 or larger, can you imagine how big its going to be at 80k?
