Some 2025 Expedition/Navigator vehicles may exhibit a failure to communicate with state emissions testing equipment due to equipment that has not been updated to be compatible with the new testing protocols. If this concern occurs, contact the state inspection administrator’s helpline for direction and reference the Ford SAE J1979-2 Announcement found at OBD Clearing house website at https://www.obdclearinghouse.com/.
